The Punkin' Patch

The school went to the punkin' patch as Mady call it on Friday the 24th of October. These are a few pictures of Mady's class. Mrs. Brisson taught the class about how different the pumpkins were. She explained that there were not two exactly alike. God made the pumpkins that way!! Just like He made all of us different! What an awesome lesson!!

By the way Murissa and Michaela went also, but I do not have any of their pictures!!

MEMORIES

As I was coming to work today and wishing I was in Lubbock for the birth of HUDSON, I began to think about how very blessed I am to have such an awesome family. I thought about my cousins and our adventures in the boondocks at granny's. I thought about Papa Hudson and how he loved for us kids to ride the tractor with him. I laughed when I thought about Papa Burke and mom trying to help me get my dress off when a bee had flown up it and was stinging me. I can not even imagine having to live life without family. I believe we often take for granted the very things in life that make us who we are as people and Christians. I thank God today for all of my family, even my cousins who stuck the sticks in my bicycle tires just to see what would happen, and I pray that my children would be as blessed as I am with such awesome memories.

Happy BIRTH DAY HUDSON!!!

A Blast From the Past!

I was looking through old photos and found this Picture. I love this picture! Eric and I had worked at our church youth camp over the summer. While we were there we brought the girls home a surprise! We brought them each large Koosh Balls to play with. They were so excited!

I wish I had a picture of Eric's face when Murissa come trotting down the hallway with them positioned in her shirts saying,"LOOK DAD THEY JIGGLE!!!". I thought he was going to pass out. Eric ended the conversation by saying he needed to get a shotgun!!

Wow! How Time Flies!!

I can not believe it is already October. Just yesterday I was keeping Tabor at Mom's house. I am not very efficient at this "Blogging" lifestyle. I do enjoy having one and so my new year's goal is just a little bit early but, I am determined to blog at least once a week. So here's the update!

The girls are great. Growing at a very rapid pace. Eric is doing well. Our family has had a very exciting summer. I am teaching again at Spurling Christian Academy! This year I have 8th grade, 9th grade, 11th grade and 12th grade students. I am teaching all subjects. My favorite to subject to teach is Algebra. My least favorite is English! I am "enjoying" relearning about subject, predicates, adverbs, nouns and pronouns. Life is so funny!! It seems when you think you are finished with a chapter God brings reopens it again!! I thought I was DONE with English!!!

I am excited to see what God has in store with me for this school year! I know that my Grammar will be improved!! I hope!!!
